Style of the Month

Homebrewers Of Peoria, founded in 1998, is a homebrewing club promoting the art and science of brewing. The business and homebrew tasting meeting is on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at Chef John's Wine Bar & Grill in Dunlap; meetings are open to the public. The club also has a social dinner at restaurants with good food and good beer selections on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM; the location varies. Each year we brew beer for and serve it at the Peoria Jaycees International Beer Festival. Annually, we rent a bus to take a trip to a Midwestern brewing city; the bus trips are open to the public. We have two brewing picnics per year (traditionally, the first picnic is the last Sunday of June, and the other the first Sunday of October) and a holiday party (traditionally, the first Sunday of December). Annual dues are $18.
